Randy Brann Feature

April 18, 2016

There are more Mod 4x4 trucks in one twenty mile radius than anywhere else in the world with more coming.  Legendary trucks came to play on this cool night.  Local Trucking Owner/Operator, Randy Brann bought the legendary Ford from Willie Omps for the 2014 Season.  Since all Randy has done is tinker with it here and win there and tinker with it some more and win some more.  The guy knows his Ford. Randy sold his beautiful 6400 Pro Stock truck called the Sand Blaster. Randy has been in and around the sport for a long time and figures to be around it for a good deal longer.

Randy started the show off with an impressive run of 333.61.  Linda Ziegler followed that run with pass of 292.36.  John T Davis came and ran a 325.23 which set the sled and a 330 foot pull off.  Davis Motorsports had several more cracks at that 330 mark.  Young Gun came in at 312.27 and The Punisher at 325.01 both driven by Peyton Davis.  The last official puller on the class was Kevin Schools.  Surely if anyone could have gotten in the pull off, it was Kevin and his Jus Rutt'n truck.  Kevin did just that with a good run of 335.15.  It ain't over til the fat lady sings as they say and this was just that.

In the pull off, Randy backed by going 349.85.  Kevin knew what he had to do and ran a 335.  Congratulations to Randy Brann and his crew.  Blue Oval Power!
